Ministries

 

SEAFARER'S MINISTRY

Ministering to:

Merchant seamen, longshoremen and other personnel coming into the Ports of Pascagoula, Chevron, Mississippi Phosphates

Volunteers on a daily basis help with phone service, recreation, refreshments, witnessing, shopping trips, language Bibles,and Jesus videos in their language etc.

 

MULTI-HOUSING

Ministering to:

Apartment complexes, YMCA's, boys and girl clubs, government regional housing complexes, trailer parks, nursing homes, a local soup kitchen, a local youth ministry, and addiction rehabilitation programs in Jackson County. 

Backyard Bible Clubs are the major emphasis however, other avenues of ministry are involved such as:

  1. Benevolent gifts of used furniture and appliances.
  2. Assistance to local churches in VBS.
  3. Present programs during regular service times.
  4. Present programs on special dates.
SPANISH MINISTRIES

Ministering to:


Spanish speaking residents of Jackson County.  Creating Hispanic Bible studies that will evolve into hispanic congregations meeting in our local churches.  A partnership with the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board Church Planting Department and the Gulfcoast Baptist Association whereby a catalytic church planter initiates works along the Gulfcoast, develops leadership and turns congregations over to local hispanic pastors.
